Statement
I am a visual artist who explores the visible body through painting and sculpture, challenging expectations and restrictions that alienate our emotional and spiritual realities. My work goes beyond the female body form, fragmenting and distorting accepted identity to contemplate new possibilities of individuality. I use distortion to question the cultural norm of beauty, manifesting the sensitive existence of the body and redefining identity.
My bizarre and monstrous characters create a dialogue between the banal and the sacred, revealing silenced stories through images. I explore themes such as gender roles and motherhood, integrating narrative fragments into my creative process. The lived body reconfigures collective memory, and my art seeks an experience of fracturing the world. I use mixed media to create representations of the body that address the coexistence of visible and invisible realities.
